Contract Transcription

Contract Transcription was created to provide freelance transcriptionists a way to market their services to contractors such as doctors, medical institutions, Lawyers and Businesses which need transcription. Our objective is to provide those who need transcription an easy way to find a transcriptionist at competitive prices.

Contract Transcription has created a Secure 128 Bit Encrypted environment that allows you to accept bids for projects. In addition after doing business with a transcriptionist that transcriptionist has the option to set pre-defined rates on a per contractor basis which allows that contractor to skip the bidding process and easily select the transcriptionist again. Between these two methods you can be assured that you will be receiving the best price across the United States.

At the end of each project both the contractor and the transcriptionist can leave a review on the project experience. If you find a transcriptionist you like it is easy to continue working with that same transcriptionist by assigning the work directly to that user skipping the bidding process.

1) Register as a Contractor

2) You will receive an email confirmation with a link follow the link to activate your account

3) Then login in and access your account

4) Once logged "Create a New Project" then upload your audio file(s) for transcription

5) Once you files are submitted you can begin receiving bids from independent transcriptionist's

6) Once you accept a bid the transcriptionist will be able to access the file for transcription.

7) After the transcriptionist is finished the document will be uploaded waiting for you to download

8) When downloading the transcribed file you will be prompted to place the amount agreed upon in an escrow account

9) You can then download the transcribed file to your computer

10) If the file is acceptable quality and correctly billed the contractor can release funds immediately or the funds will be deposited in your account on the 5th day automatically if there is no Project Dispute. If there is a Project Dispute contractor/transcriptionist can contact the administrator and dispute the project freeing the money and will not be released until the administrator makes a judgment as a neutral third party based on information from both the contractor and the transcriptionist. The Dispute process is in place so both parties feel safe with the project process.

11) Once the project is complete the contractor is able to leave a review about the experience they had with the transcriptionist.
