Outsourcing Medical Transcription

Contractors such as lawyers, doctors, and medical institutions can accept bids from transcriptionists on a per job basis or as a continuing project. If the project is continuing the transcriptionist can set pre-defined prices which allows the contractor to skip the bidding process and assign the work directly to the medical transcriptionist.

At Contract Transcription we are trying to both increase transcriptionists profits while providing the most cost effective way for contractors to recieve medical transcription.

The Contractor

Once registered the contractor can login to the contractor control panel where it is possible to recieve bids on transcription projects. When the audio files are uploaded the transcriptionist can see the audio format and the file size then enter a bid for the work. After bids are posted by the transcriptionists the doctor can easily choose a transcriptionist for the job

Contractors can recieve bids on each project or the transcriptionist can set special rates for each individual doctor or medical institution. If the transcriptionist sets a predetermined rate it can be selected and the doctor can skip the bidding process.

The contractor cannot download the files until money is placed in an escrow account. If the transcription is accurate the doctor or medical institution can release funds immediatley upon reciept of the transcribed document. If the funds are not released immediatley the funds will automatically be released three (3) days after completion of the transcribed document. The exception to the automatic release is if the file has been returned for corrections or the project is in dispute.

The Transcriptionist

If living in the United States once registered the transcriptionist can login to the transcriptionist control panel where it is possible to bid on projects or set transcription rates by contractor or categories which can be viewed by doctors browsing for potential transcription services.

After bidding on a project and the bid being accepted the transcriptionist can agree or decline to do the job. Once the transcriptionist agrees the audio files become available to download to transcribe. When finished with the transcription the transcriptionionist can upload the transcribed files which are are available for download to after the doctor places the money in an escrow account.

Communication

If you do not have secure email communication can be through our web message board. All messages are in 128 bit encryption through our secure socket layer certificate.

Payment
The doctor deposits money into his account which placed in escrow before he can download the transcribed file. The escrow amount deposited is based on the amount agreed upon with the transcriptionist in the project bid process. The contractor can pay the transcriptionist immediately upon completion of the project or the system has an automatic escrow transfer after 3 days if the project is not in a dispute status or returned for corrections.

Dispute
Sometimes we disagree both the contractor and the transcriptionist have a method to dispute if in case there is a problem. Contract-Transcriptions.com is a neutral third party and if necessary we will make a decision. The decision could be to release funds to the transcriptionist for the work performed or credit the doctor for the amount based on either of the following a lack of quality and/or amount owed based on bid amount.

Money Transfer
Currently depositing to a users account can be made with 2checkout or Paypal
Account funds withdrawal is currently through Paypal only.

File Storage
The audio file and the transcribed file will remain on our server for 3 days at which time it will be deleted for security reasons.
